A form of expressive therapy that is used to improve a child’s mental and emotional well-being. This form of therapy is usually used for newly absorbed children, for children that cannot express their emotions or children that do not speak fluent Hebrew (such as new immigrants). The creative process involved in expressing a child’s self artistically, can help children to resolve issues as well as develop and mange their behaviors and feelings, reduce stress and improve their self-esteem and awareness. Through this psychotherapy, we can better understand our children’s inner-self in a way that may provide the child with a deeper understanding of him/her self.
The cost of Art Therapy per child, per year is estimated at 2,550 NIS (~$740)
